Oben Electric has unveiled the **Rorr EZ**, a new electric motorcycle aimed at commuters and EV enthusiasts seeking range, speed and modern tech without crossing into premium pricing. With an introductory ex-showroom price starting at **₹89,999**, the Rorr EZ comes in three battery options—2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh—which allow buyers to choose based on usage, distance and cost. The top-end variant promises up to **175 km** of range, putting it among the more capable e-bikes in its price bracket.
The bike delivers a strong value proposition: decent acceleration, respectable top speed, and smart features that make riding more convenient and safe. Whether it’s daily city commuting or occasional highway runs, this motorcycle is designed to strike a balance between performance and affordability in the electric two-wheeler segment.

The base variant (2.6 kWh) offers a range of **≈ 110 km**, while the mid (3.4 kWh) variant boosts that to around **140 km**, and the top 4.4 kWh battery goes up to **175 km** on a single charge. Charging time with the standard charger ranges from about **4 to 7 hours** depending on battery size; fast charging options allow the battery to reach ~80% in roughly **45 minutes** (smallest pack), or up to **2 hours** for larger packs.
All variants share the same motor setup that produces a peak output of 7.5 kW and around 52 Nm torque. This delivers brisk acceleration—0-40 km/h in about 3.3 seconds—and a top speed of 95 km/h in the highest “Havoc” mode. Riders also get two lower modes (Eco and City) which limit speed appropriately for improved efficiency and battery conservation.
The Rorr EZ is built on Oben’s proprietary ARX frame, with a seat height of 810 mm. Despite differences in battery weight, components like suspension, tyres and belt drive are common across variants. The display is a colour segmented LED, and there are features like geo-fencing, theft protection, remote diagnostics via app, and multiple colour options. Base models have limited colour choices; higher variants get more finishes including bold shades and accents.
Price starts at ₹89,999 for the base 2.6 kWh variant, ₹99,999 for the mid 3.4 kWh, and about ₹1,10,000 for the top 4.4 kWh trim (all ex-showroom). Oben offers a standard warranty (battery & motor) for 3 years or 50,000 km, extendable to 5 years or 75,000 km. Buyers also get an owner program that handles after-sales service, diagnostic support, and other ownership aids. Booking amounts are low, making initial cost manageable for many.
The Oben Rorr EZ offers a strong mix of range, performance, and features at an accessible price point. For riders looking to switch to electric two-wheelers without compromising on speed or practicality, this model hits many right notes. While its real-world range, charging infrastructure, and after-sales support will be key to its success, the Rorr EZ is a serious contender in India’s growing EV bike market. Perfect for daily commuting, occasional highway rides, and for those who want the feel of a motorcycle with modern electric convenience.
